What is simultaneous translation
Simultaneous translation (interpretation) is performed by an interpreter simultaneously with the speaker and it is transmitted via dedicated equipment. Unlike consecutive translation, there are no special pauses for the interpreter in the speaker’s speech.

Specifics of simultaneous translation
The interpreter must be an expert, be able to translate instantaneously and without delays, remember and keep large volumes of information;
The interpreter must have specific simultaneous translation skills;
Before the beginning of simultaneous translation the interpreter must meticulously study the field, main theses, and the agenda of the coming event;
Special professional equipment is required.

When is simultaneous translation used by customers
Simultaneous translation sets higher demands to the interpreter and the equipment compared to consecutive translation. However, it may be used for large audiences, speaking different languages. Therefore, simultaneous translation is usually used when regulations and the topic of the meeting are defined beforehand:

At large scale international meetings and conferences with participants speaking different languages;
At meetings with a large number of communication participants.
