What is consecutive translation
Consecutive translation (interpretation) is performed by an interpreter during the pauses, made by speaker after one or more phrases. As a rule, this translation is for small groups of participants, from two to ten people.

The meaning of the original message may be translated as fully as possible, since the speaker makes the pauses of the required length;
During work the interpreter has an opportunity to take notes;

When is consecutive translation used by customers
Generally, consecutive translation is the simplest and most understandable, but less intensive kind of interpretation with limited opportunities for translating into several languages. Therefore, it is used in «simpler» cases:

Business meetings with foreigners;

Engineering staff support on the construction site.
